DONNA MINKOWITZ - MEMOIR
Donna Minkowitz is founder of the successful LitLit open mic in Beacon and teacher of memoir workshops. Her Memoir Ferocious Romance won a Lambda Literary Award, Growing up Golem was a finalist for both a Lambda Literary Award and the Judy Grahn Nonfiction Award, and her latest, Donnaville, is due out in 2024. Minkowitz’s take-no-prisoners journalism has appeared in the New York Times Book Review, The Nation, and others. She was a columnist for the Village Voice and her 1994 article about Brandon Teena, the 21-year-old trans murder victim, directly inspired the movie “Boys Don’t Cry.” Donnaminkowitz.com

Celia Barbour is a versatile, award-winning writer and editor whose work has appeared in leading publications including The New York Times, Gourmet Magazine, Travel and Leisure, Martha Stewart Living, and O, the Oprah Magazine, among many others. MARISSA LEVIEN - FICTION
Marissa Levien is a novelist and experienced teacher of creative writing at SUNY. Her debut literary sci-fi novel The World Gives Way was called a “staggering marvel, an action packed cat-and-mouse chase” by the New York Times, and named a NYT Best Sci-Fi and Fantasy Novel and A Fortune Magazine Best Book.
