WAYS TO HELP
Gallery - Welcome visitors and help with exhibitions.
Front of House - Help greet visitors, with seating and check-in, ticketing. (see above)
Middle of House - Help with hospitality, refreshments, and ushering.
Back of House - Help with sound, lighting, staging and event setup.
Administrative - Help with office and organizational tasks.
Sales - Customer-facing, sales, fundraising, build strong donor relationships.
Buildings & Grounds - Help care for the building and grounds.
Board - Help guide the future of the Howland through board service.

WE ESPECIALLY NEED HELP WITH  FRONT OF HOUSE
Join our team dedicated to welcoming guests as they arrive. Volunteers assist by  greeting visitors, checking them in, selling tickets, answering questions, and ensuring  everything runs smoothly once the doors open. 

We are also seeking an individual who is interested in a leadership role. This person will be  responsible for organizing the Front of House volunteers and ensuring that guests have a  seamless experience.

Howland Cultural Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3), run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff.

The Howland Cultural Center is always looking for volunteers, people who want to lend a hand, meet neighbors, and help make events at this historic building possible. The Howland has been part of Beacon since 1979. We're a volunteer-run nonprofit presenting music, art, theater, dance, film, and community events throughout the year.
