Saint Rita offers a unique blend of artistry that captures the raw emotion and gritty authenticity of Weill and Piaf’s compositions. The trio’s performance will transport audiences from Weimar-era Brecht to the Rue Pigalle and across time and space to 1940’s Hollywood and Broadway. The concert is a benefit performance for Beacon High School’s short term foreign exchange program to Munich, Germany. The Year End Hoot started in the early 2000's and developed into a yearly event appearing in many different river towns including Beacon. Celebrating in the Spirit of Pete and Woody with Guthrie's Ghost house band along with special guests.
During the pandemic, CLASSICS FOR KIDS had the pleasure of recording two fine pianists and a narrator in a rendition of The Nutcracker. This year they performed LIVE in a full house in our Classics for Kids series! Performers were: Stephen Joven-Lee, piano, Michele Wong, piano, Gina Samardge, Narrator (director of Compass Arts)

The Howland Chamber Music Circles Pop-Up Concert presents the multi-sensory experience “Luminous Being”. Violinist Audrey Wright, a member of the New York Philharmonic and concertmaster of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, together with artist Geoff Robertson, have created Luminous Being. Luminous Being is a multi sensory performance for solo violin and sound responsive light art, interweaving classical repertoire spanning the 12th through 21st centuries with original music and arrangements by Wright for a magical, poetic, and playful exploration into the connections between sound, light, and technology. For the performance, Wright adorns a bespoke garment of wearable light art created by artist Geoff Robertson, embodying a luminous being of colors, shapes, and sounds.
Westchester Jazz Alliance Quartet is a premiere jazz quartet that includes Charley Krachy, sax, Dave Frank, piano, Fr. Stan Fortuna, bass, and T-kash Inuoe, drums. Two of the members were closely associated with the Legendary jazz pianist/educator Lennie Tristano. The mission of the Westchester Jazz Alliance and the WAJQ is, through education, performances, and jazz parties, to increase awareness, participation, and enjoyment of jazz in the New York area and beyond.
Sons of Mercury is a fresh, strong-energy band that blends classic and new rock, playing covers ranging from the 1970’s all the way to the present, along with their new, emerging originals. Started by three NYC boys (on bass, drums, and guitar) with an added touch of singing Cali vocals, Sons of Mercury bring both a new yet nostalgic sound to the live music scene.
