HCMC presents "LUMINOUS BEING"

The Howland Chamber Music Circles Pop-Up Concert presents the multi-sensory experience “Luminous Being”. Violinist Audrey Wright, a member of the New York Philharmonic and concertmaster of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, together with artist Geoff Robertson, have created Luminous Being. Luminous Being is a multi sensory performance for solo violin and sound responsive light art, interweaving classical repertoire spanning the 12th through 21st centuries with original music and arrangements by Wright for a magical, poetic, and playful exploration into the connections between sound, light, and technology. For the performance, Wright adorns a bespoke garment of wearable light art created by artist Geoff Robertson, embodying a luminous being of colors, shapes, and sounds. ​
