Sons of Mercury is a fresh, strong-energy band that blends classic and new rock, playing covers ranging from the 1970’s all the way to the present, along with their new, emerging originals. Started by three NYC boys (on bass, drums, and guitar) with an added touch of singing Cali vocals, Sons of Mercury bring both a new yet nostalgic sound to the live music scene. Ted Swindley is the Creator of the musical ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS (An American Comedy? Description: Set in 1994, a high school football star becomes the first male debutante in a small Southern town and his “coming out” causes a hilarious chain of events that inspires other quirky characters in the play to follow his lead to find their authentic selves and pursue true happiness that is an “inalienable right” guaranteed by America’s founding fathers. The play shows the beautiful possibilities for increasing tolerance in the 1990s and the specter of growing intolerance at a time when America is at a crossroads.  |
