Over the years, the Howland Cultural Center has showcased art, sculpture, photography, music, and the spoken word to the community through its various programs of note.

It is only logical that Motion Pictures, a medium that encompasses all of the above artistic facets, be presented to the public in such a wonderful venue as The Howland Cultural Center.

“Movies At The Howland” is a monthly series of feature films from the rich history of the medium. Both foreign and American films will be offered, along with introductory short features by some of the young and developing film makers in the New York area.
