For the past years, The Howland Cultural Center has presented a series of classical music concerts for children - and their families. These concerts feature outstanding musicians in informal programs who are able to perform for chldren on a level which makes classical music a a very enjoyable and appealing experience.

Our aim is to introduce children in live performances of classical music and its instruments in an entertaining yet informative way and the children have responded enthusiastically. Aimed particularly for elementary school children, the concerts last approximately forty-five minutes. A reception with refreshments follows giving children an opportunity to meet and talk with the performers.

Concerts are held on Saturday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. Two concerts take place in Autumn and two in the Spring.
