The Howland Chamber Music Circle Concert   4:00 PM
Second concert of the Piano Festival 2010

featuring Andrius Zlabys, pianist
From Lithuania, Zlabys has soloed with the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony and the Cleveland Orchestra
and was a prizewinner at the2003 Cleveland International Piano Competition.
He has performed at Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie's Wankel and Weill halls and the Concertgebouw.
He plans a varied program of Bach, Alban Berg, Debussy and Franck.

featuring Vanessa Perez, pianist
The Venezuelan pianist has performed in recitals, chamber groups and with orchestras in the United States,
Europe and Latin America. She plans works by Bach, Debussy, Albeniz and Chopin.

“Listen to the Rhythms of Black History”   3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
The Howland Public Library and the Howland Cultural Center present
a Live performance of Music, Vocals, and Spoken Word presented by Jeff Haynes.
Jeff and his special guests will take the audience on a rhythmic journey from Africa to their own backyard
in celebration of the rich culture and heritage Of Black Americans.
All children are admitted FREE; suggested donation per adult/family: $10.00
