Art Exhibition ″A Look at the Beacon Art Salon″

Gallery Hrs. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday  1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
(Exception: Gallery closed to general viewing public for:
The No Strings Marionette Co. in two performances all day Saturday, December 12 & all day December 13 for a private party)

Bridge Club  10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
All interested bridge players welcome. Refreshments served  admission: $3.00 ea.week
 

Friday, Dec 4

Calling all Poets: host, Jim Eve  8:00 PM
Presenting: N. Wilson Enoch & Addison Goodson
followed by 2 poem open mic.
Refreshments available. $4.00 admission.


Saturday, Dec 5
Fundraiser for the sloop, Woody Guthrie
and a music festival to celebrate Pete Seeger’s 90th birthday year  7:30 PM

The Howland Cultural Center invites one and all to this extra special event.
Including: David & Jakob Bernz, The Howland Wolves, The Beacon Children's Choir, Dan Einbender, Pete Seeger & more!

All children admitted Free, but must be accompanied by an adult  for a suggested $10 ticket donation
The holiday season program is sponsored by the Howland Public Library and the Howland Cultural Center.
(Art Gallery closed to the general viewing public for the day)

Featuring: Brothers of Gideon
Reggae & jazz gospel music in a coffeehouse setting; refreshments available

″The Healing Power of Meditation″, a new series of classes by the Kadampa Meditation Group

In this series, we will learn and practice a variety of special meditations
we’ll then be able to use as powerful tools to facilitate a lifetime of healing

meditation and discussion; dropins welcome; Drop-in fee $8.00/class
